Performance evaluation of web server based upon IEEE 802.15.4

In the present era, a well-regulated web server comes with all new solutions to all new bulky heap of requests of daily users. As there is a rapid change in technology, the average number of requests on the web server is increasing rapidly. Moreover, WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks) has proved to be a revolutionary technology for monitoring the physical and environmental state of a machine. This manuscript targets to evaluate the performance of a web server based upon modern-day protocol IEEE 802.15.4 for WSNs using different scenarios (with GTS (Guaranteed Time Slot), Mixed GTS, & Without GTS). Depending upon the evaluation performed, it can be concluded that the performance of the webserver can be enhanced by trading-off in the use of the GTS mechanism in IEEE 802.15.4 for WSNs.

NodeMcu based smart garbage monitoring system

Garbage monitoring is an essential issue for most of the cities in India. The current garbage monitoring and management system are highly ineffective contributing to high transportation and collection costs. Due to poor monitoring and collection, garbage bins are seen overflowing in certain areas which can lead to long-term problems such as bad odour and harmful diseases. On the contrary, in some places, garbage collection trucks end up collecting garbage from bins which have low garbage levels leading to high petrol consumption and increased air pollution. To overcome these problems “NodeMcu based smart garbage monitoring system” can be introduced as an effective solution. This smart garbage monitoring system employs NodeMcu as its main microcontroller. It uses the ultrasonic sensor as a level detector to detect the amount of garbage in the bin. It also employs an MQ-135 gas sensor and a DHT sensor to monitor the quality of air surrounding to bin and temperature and humidity data respectively. This information is then transmitted via the NodeMcu to Blynk application and ThingSpeak channel. In the Blynk application, the live monitored information is displayed using a graphical interface. In the ThingSpeak channel, the real-time output data is represented as a line graph which can be interpreted easily. Thus this system provides a web platform as well as a mobile platform for efficient garbage monitoring.

Violating road traffic laws and problems posed in Vietnam today

Road traffic in Vietnam is now a matter of deep and concern for the whole society, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), in Vietnam the current death due to traffic accident further 100.000 accidents, are higher than the world average of 24.5/17. This is an alarming number, causing any damages to people and property, hindering the sustainable development of Vietnam. This study focuses on analyzing the situation of road traffic violations in the last three years (from 2016 to the first half of 2019). The cause of those violations. Based on the analysis of data collected through field surveys in many provinces in the southern part of Vietnam, the authors propose solutions to improve the understanding of road traffic laws in Vietnam.

Molecular marker analysis of Oryza sativa using RAPD markers

Rice is one of the most important crops that provides food for more than half of the world’s population and hence their cultivation is expanding drastically due to the increasing demand. There are different varieties of rice distinguished based on their physiological characteristics and geographical area. Identification of these genotypes are important during the genetic breeding programs. Molecular markers play a crucial role in studying genetic variation among different species. The analysis of this diversity among six varieties of rice: Sahabagi Dhan, IR-64, MGD-101, BPT-5204, Azucena, Doddiga was performed by extracting DNA and using 8 RAPD markers on them. The random DNA sequences amplified by PCR are compared and analysed by the process of electrophoresis. The binary of the gel images is used for analysis of genetic variation between the cultivars. It is observed that the number of polymorphic fragments for each primer varied from from 3 to 7 with an average of 4. The average percentage polymorphism was calculated as 77.573%. The values of similarity co-efficient ranged from 0.41 to 0.85. The values of similarity co-efficient ranged from 0.41 between MGD-101 and IR-64 to 0.85 between BPT-5204 and Azucena and an average of 0.71. Cluster analysis showed that IR-64 and MGD-101 are bifolious and Azucena is a simplifolious indicating that it is a wild variety and is substantially different from all others. Major Allele Frequency ranges from 0.61 to 0.90 with a mean of 0.79, Gene Diversity values range from 0.17 to 0.46 with a mean of 0.29 and PIC values range from 0.14 to 0.36 with a mean of 0.23. The information obtained in this study helps to understand the genetic diversity. It can be used to emphasize conservation and propagation of selected natural varieties and to select diverse parents to broaden the germplasm of rice.

Formulation and evaluation of Adulsa capsules Phytosomes

The major problem associated with the herbal drug is poor bioavailability so as to improve the bioavailability of herbal novel drug delivery system known as phytosome is used. By applying this novel approach bioavailability is increased. The objective of the current project is to develop a formulation with a systematic approach to yield better products in terms of stability, acceptability and therapeutic value owing to its greater bioavailability origin. Different phytosomal complexes of vasaka leaf extract containing a molar ratio of 1:1,1:2,1:3,1:4,2:1,2:2 using methanolic extract, soya lecithin and cholesterol were prepared by solvent injection technique.Adhatoda vasica phytosomes were characterized by particle size, zeta potential, entrapment efficiency,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and in vitro drug release. The average particle size and zeta potential of optimized formulation were found to be 136.7nm and -22.7 and entrapment efficiency was found to be 71%. In-vitro % drug release of capsules of Adhatoda vasica was found to 85%.
