Image encryption predicated on segmented singular value decomposition using FrFT

The protection of digital information and pictures has an integral function in defense as well as biomedical image handling applications. The formula which is usually to be utilized for the protection of data gives strength from any sort of incorrect supplies to the unwanted consumer. The idea of share matrix S(k;n) m for the creation of shares has been investigated. These types of shares give strength to the security or encryption of confidential information and images. In this article, the paper illustrates the utilization of share generation idea for encryption of the digital pictures in the SVD domain. The singular value of the SVD component functions as a good choice to create the shares of the picture. To bring further improvement in the robustness, we apply the Fractional Fourier Transform (FrFT). The sequence of the FrFT (1; 2) combined with the singular vectors (that is U and V) parts of the initial/base image functions similar to keys. Most of the state-of-the-art techniques are also studied combined with the suggested technique. A variety of quantitative parameters such as for example speed, Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR), Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI), entropy, correlation coefficient, key sensitivity and Mean Square Error (MSE) has been completely researched to examine the overall performance of the suggested technique.We find our suggested technique works more effectively or perhaps comparable sufficiently.

Cast Partial Denture: A Preferred Choice of the Patient over Acrylic Partial and Flexible Denture- A Case Report

Acrylic partial denture is a preferred choice of treatment for partially edentulous individuals because of the low cost and ease of fabrication. But there are lots of disadvantages for it because of its semi porous nature, low strength, thickness of the denture base etc. It also results in altered taste sensation, hampered speech and reduced heat perception by the patient. Cast partial denture is a treatment modality which has been proved through ages for treating partially edentulous individuals, but still not practiced commonly mainly because of the economic viability and fabrication difficulty. In this case report the patient is provided with full acrylic denture, a flexible denture and a cast partial denture and the patient’s perception towards the treatment is assessed.

Noise absorbing construction material from waste(s)

The noise absorbing panels are made from both natural and artificial materials. Due to the increased manufacture and usage of artificial fibres, carbon footprint levels get increased. In the Coimbatore region with the presence of numerous coir industries, huge quantity of waste in the form of coir pith are produced. To overcome the use of artificial fibres, this study intends the usage of the coir waste as the noise absorbing material. A noise absorbing panel is designed and made from the coir with the addition of polypropylene. The polypropylene is used for binding purpose. The prepared sample is tested with the impedance tube method. The sound absorbing coefficient value of the sample which is compared with the other materials. For phase, I of the project, the properties of coir and the test which has to be carried out is studied with the help of literature reviews. The test procedure is discussed and the methodology is prepared. Further in phase II of the project experimental part is carried out. The results are tabulated and compared with artificial materials which are then concluded that coir can be used as an absorbing material.

Health prediction system using Data Mining

“Health Prediction” system based on predictive modeling, which predicts the disease (probability of disease) of the user on the basis of the symptoms that the user provides as an input to the system. The system analyses the symptoms provided by the user as input and gives the probability of the disease as an output to the user. Disease Prediction is done by implementing the Naïve Bayes Classifier. Naïve Bayes Classifier calculates the probability of the disease. Therefore, the average accuracy of 75% is obtained for disease prediction. The system also provides suggestions of Doctor’s to the user based on the symptoms analyzed. Along with it also provides suggestions of nearby Doctor’s available in the area of Patient. The user can also share his/her medical reports online with the Doctor, based on which doctor can provide treatment to the user. Also, there is chatting facility available through which Doctor and User can interact with each other before taking an appointment or after the treatment also. The Doctor can also manage all the patients’ records online.

Experimental study on the influence of internal curing on concrete properties using pre-soaked lightweight aggregates and Super Absorbent Polymer

ACI defines Internal Curing (IC) as a process by which the hydration of cement continues because of the availability of internal water that is not part of the mixing water. The introduction of SAP as a new additive for the production of concrete materials presents a number of new possibilities in respect of water control, i.e., the purposeful water absorption and/or water release in either fresh or hardened concrete. Proper curing of concrete structures is important to ensure they meet their intended performance and durability requirements. In conventional construction, this is achieved through external curing, applied after mixing, placing and finishing. Internal curing (IC) is a very promising technique that can provide additional moisture in concrete for more effective hydration of the cement and reduced self-desiccation. Internal curing implies the introduction of a curing agent into concrete that will provide this additional moisture. Concrete expands and contracts because of change in temperature, freezing and thawing cycle and environmental conditions. During early age hardening of concrete exhibits few cracks due to its chemical nature. The main reason for crack development in paste fraction is the loss of water due to chemical reaction and environment. The crack development due to aggregate was mainly on its chemical composition and physical properties. The crack due to plastic shrinkage could be reduced by adopting an internal curing method. This internal curing agent supply absorbed water to concrete to minimize the crack effect due to plastic shrinkage. Internal curing does not replace conventional surface curing but works with it to make concrete more robust. Internal curing can also help compensate for less than ideal weather conditions and poor conventional curing that is often seen in the real world. In this study, M25 Concrete was used to cast cubes beams and cylinders with the mix design of 1:1.78:2.92 replacing sand with presoaked vermiculite and in other mix replacing cement with SAP. The results of 28 days compressive strength, flexural strength and split tensile strength indicates a higher strength with usage of 0.35% SAP and 5% vermiculite as internal curing agents.
