Removal of NITROGEN from Industrial Effluent: A Review

Nitrates pollution of waters is a worldwide problem and its remediation is a big challenge from the technical and the scientific point of view. One of the most used and promising cleaning techniques is the biological treatment of wastewaters operated by bacteria. A freshwater microalgae Chlorella sp. was investigated for its ability to remove both nitrogen and phosphorus from influent. Amount of wastewater containing nitrogen is increasing in the environment due to industrialization.  It is necessary to remove nitrogen from waste as it causes eutrophication. The study was carried out to increase characteristics, efficiency and economy of wastewater by the low-cost microorganism.

A Proposed Framework for Realtime Monitoring of Speed and Location of a Vehicle

The working man commutes to work and other destinations on a daily basis by various means of transport. One such popular means is by the use of cabs. In cities, several companies enable such commuters to avail the services of daily vehicle hiring from one location to another. Safety of the passenger being the most important criteria, it is important for the fleet management company to be able to monitor the vehicle in which the passenger is seated, in real-time. Our research proposes a simulated system using a speed sensor and a GPS module and a microcontroller to fetch the data and view the vehicle’s speed and location coordinates on a smartphone.

Synthesis and Anti Diabetic Activity of Curcumin

Curcumin is the principal curcuminoid of the popular Indian spice turmeric, which is a member of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). The other two curcuminoids are desmethoxycurcumin and bis-desmethoxycurcumin. The curcuminoids are polyphenols and are responsible for the yellow color of turmeric. Curcumin can exist in at least two tautomeric forms, keto and enol. The enol form is more energetically stable in the solid phase and in solution. Curcumin is one such medicine. Turmeric, derived from the plant Curcuma longa, is a gold-colored spice commonly used in the Indian subcontinent, not only for healthcare but also for the preservation of food and as a yellow dye for textiles. Curcumin, which gives the yellow color to turmeric and its structure as diferuloylmethane. Curcumin has been shown to exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and anticancer activities and thus has a potential against various malignant diseases, diabetes, allergies, arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease, and other chronic illnesses. These effects are mediated through the regulation of various transcription factors, growth factors, inflammatory cytokines, protein kinases, and other enzymes.

Development of Therapeutic Flour and Prepare Standardized Recipe

Therapeutic flour is developed by the mixing of rice bran, chickpea peel and whole wheat flour in different ratio(s) and better results obtained in the ratio(s) of rice bran, chickpea peel and whole wheat flour in 10:10:80 in the development of therapeutic flour and prepare recipes by using therapeutic flour and test characteristics supported by the hedonic scale. One major product was developed using different composite flour i.e. therapeutic flour chilla, (rice bran+chickpea peel+ wheat flour). The developed product was evaluated on various parameters: sensory evaluation & nutritional analysis. Sensory evaluation of prepared product was carried out using 9 points hedonic scale.

A Survey on Security and Privacy Methods of Bigdata in Cloud Computing Environment

Big Data and cloud computing are two important issues in the recent years, that enable computing resources to be provided as Information Technology services with high efficiency and effectiveness. The main focus is on security issues in cloud computing that are associated with Big data. Big data applications are a great benefit to organizations, business, companies and many large scales and small-scale industries. Cloud computing plays a very vital role in protecting data. Hadoop Framework is used by popular companies like Google, Yahoo, Amazon, and IBM etc. Now-a-days big data is one of the most serious problems that researchers have focused their research on it to understand the problem of how big data could be handled in the current systems and managed with cloud computing. One of the most important issues is how to gain perfect security for big data in cloud computing. Our paper makes a Survey of big data with cloud computing, security and the mechanisms that are used to protect and secure with available clouds.

AES based Secured Framework for Cloud Databases

A Cloud database management syst℮m is a distributed database that delivers computing as a service (Caas) instead of a product. Improving confidentiality of information stored in a cloud database. It is a very important contribution to the cloud database. Data encryption is the optimum solution for achieving confidentiality. In some normal methods, encrypt the whole database through some standard encryption algorithm that does not allow in sql database operations directly on the cloud. This formal solution affected by workload and cost would make the cloud database service inconvenient. I propose a novel architecture for adaptive encryption of public cloud database. Adaptiv encryption allow any sql operation over encrypted data. The novel cloud database architecture that uses adaptive encryption technique with no intermediate servers. This scheme provides cloud provider with the best level of confidentiality for any database workload. I can determine the encryption and adaptive encryption cost of data confidentiality from the research point of view. Index Terms Adaptive encryption T℮chnique, AES(Advanced Encryption Standard), Metadata.
