Helping Hands- An android based donation system

Our Motive of this mobile application is to Donate the Money, Food, Blood, voluntary the charity events, Preowned things to Orphanages and old age homes. The features of the proposed application include a list of non-profit organizations. Searching for a qualified non-profit organization is the main problem that prevents people from the made donation. So, this application help to solve the problem by providing a list of a non-profit organization in the World. To ease the process of donation we use message, email, push notification feature in the application can help the non-profit organization feature was build so that the donor can provide more detail on the donation and ask questions to the non-profit organizations. Next, this application implements the layered architecture in the development process. Last but not least, this application helps in connecting the donor and non-profit organization through a mobile application and hope that the application can bring benefits to both parties and make the donation activity easy to be done

Application of operations research in agriculture

Right from 1954 researchers started analyzing the applications of Operations Research in agriculture. Agriculture makes provision for food and is vital for the GDP of India with the ever growing population. This paper uses Assignment Problems to allot crops to states based on secondary data (to deduce a trend) that shows the crop production of all the states of India. It represents a methodology which can be used to identify which crops should be predominantly grown in which state. It can help to maximize the production of crops in the country, maximize the profits and reduce the land usage in the process.

Application of operations research in the Indian Aviation Industry

The aforementioned paper is an attempt to understand the aviation industry in India and address it’s most common problems. India is said to have higher growth percentages in the sector compared to any other country in the world along with managing the busiest airports in the world In Mumbai and Delhi, in terms of the number of passengers and Number of flights flying in and out during the year. This niche approach helps us understand what flyers are most dissatisfied within their overall flight experience and provide possible solutions. This is an industry which traditionally tends to operate on very thin margins. Considering the tremendous pressure that’s been building on them in terms of growth in frequency of flights, a number of flyers and high fuel prices, it’s important to sustain what’s under their control, and their clientele qualifies as the most important element.

Design and simplification of multipurpose cutter using Scotch Yoke Mechanism

The Scotch yoke (also known as slotted page link mechanism) is a reciprocating motion mechanism, converting the linear motion of a slider into rotational motion, or vice versa. The piston or other reciprocating part is directly coupled to a sliding yoke with a slot that engages a pin on the rotating part. The location of the piston versus time is a sine wave of constant amplitude, and constant frequency given a constant rotational speed. This project aims to fabricate the “mechanical multi-cutter” by using Scotch Yoke mechanism with lower price to improve productivity and to reduce the time. The machine is designed such a way that a smooth trace of each cut stump can be obtained using reciprocating blades. The machine performs eventually even in small and soft fields. The mechanical cutters’ innovation will bring a revolution in the development of the agricultural industry
