Magnetic Gearing System

With the advent of technology and science, researchers have shown interest and developed a new technology incorporating permanent magnets. This concept is applied in magnetic gearing to achieve low-speed high- torque direct-drive operation. The speed is altered by the use of gears and gearboxes. The magnetic meshing of gear overcomes the limitations of mechanical gearing system like vibrations, noise, friction due to contact. The efficiency of 99% or greater can be achieved at full load conditions. The magnetic force of attraction aids in the magnetic meshing of the gear teeth. There is no physical contact of the gear teeth. By the use of such system, the wear and tear of the gears are reduced to a great extent. The heat generated in the gears while working is almost nil in this method. Unlike mechanical gearing system, the process of transmitting power is smooth and silent. Magnetic gearing system can be incorporated in automobiles for transmission of power to achieve higher efficiency. This kind of setup requires very minimum maintenance. Permanent magnets are used to produce the magnetic field which helps in the transmission of energy without contact. Ferrite magnets and high power rare earth neodymium magnets are used in making the gears.

Implementation of “The Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017″

The analysis of impact of amended Maternity benefit act is very important in terms of employment, women empowerment, social status & Health, Corporate acceptance of the new regulation. Though the Act has a statutory background & compulsion to the organization however, it is important for the individual to understand the impact of the same, so that all the parties involved the in the implementation will get the right directions to work on.

Biometric Identification with Improved Efficiency using SIFT Algorithm

Biometric techniques are automated methods of identification or verification. The shortest identification time is the vital need. The identity of a person is based on behavioral and physiological characteristics.Biometric authentication techniques are generally done by machine generally (but not always). This paper explains increasing the efficiency of a biometric system using SIFT algorithm. SIFT guarantees the highest potential detection efficiency than all other existing techniques.

Shape Optimization of Planar Mechanisms

This paper presents an optimization method to find link shapes for a dynamically balanced planar four-bar mechanism. The shaking force and shaking moment developed in the mechanism due to inertia are minimized by optimally distributing the link masses. The link shapes are then found using cubic B-spline curves and an optimization problem is formulated to minimize the percentage error in resulting links inertia values in which the control points of the B-spline curve are taken as the design variables. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by applying it to a numerical problem available in the literature.

5G Mobile Wireless Technology

5G Technology stands for the 5th Generation Mobile technology. 5G is a next major phase of mobile telecommunications standards beyond the 4G standards.5G is expected to provide speed upto 10Gbit/s, wider frequency band, high increased peak bit rate, high system spectral efficiency, ubiquitous connectivity and a significant increase in  QoS as compared to current 4G technology. Evolution of mobile communication technology to 5G is discussed in this review, followed by protocol stack and 5G architecture. A wide comparison is given between the various generations so as to compare why 5G technology is better and needed.

Multi port Network Ethernet Performance Improvement Techniques

An Ethernet has its own importance and space in network subsystem. In today’s resource-intensive engineering the applications need to deal with the real time data processing, server virtualization, and high-volume data transactions. The real-time technologies such as video on demand and Voice over IP operations demand the network devices with efficient network data processing as well as better networking bandwidth. The performance is the major issues with the multi-port network devices. It requires the sufficient network bandwidth and CPU processing speed to process the real time data at the context. And this demand is goes on increasing. The new multi-port hardware technologies can help to improvements in the performance with the virtualized server environments. But, these hardware technologies having their own limitations in terms of CPU utilization levels and power consumption. It also impact on latency and the overall system cost. This thesis will provide the insights to some of the key configuration decisions at hardware as well as software designs in order to facilitate multi-port network devices performance improvement over the existing infrastructure. This thesis will also discuss the solutions such as Virtual LAN and balanced or symmetric network to reduce the cost and hardware dependency to improve the multi-port network system performance significantly over the current existing infrastructure. This performance improvement includes CPU utilization and bandwidth in the heavy network loads.
