Datagram transport layer security in Java

This paper explains transport layer security implemented in Java 9 based on datagram protocol. Building secure software requires the use of a wide variety of security controls, at different layers of the application. Java 9 security enhancement support transport-independent and light-weight DTLS version 1.0 and 1.2. Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol is designed to construct “TLS over datagram” traffic that doesn't require or provide reliable or in-order delivery of data. DTLS is a datagram-compatible variant of TLS. The DTLS API provides communications privacy for datagram protocols that allow client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery through SSLEngine. DTLS are the best solution for encrypting and transmitting real-time data. The use of the DTLS API in Java provides access to the application data in each DTLS message.

The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in making accurate stock decisions in E-commerce industry

With accumulation and proliferation of large data, it is highly necessary to make some meaningful sense out of the data. Here is where Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and algorithms play a major role. AI is highly expertise in handling the customer data and forecasting the purchase behavior of customers. This has brought out the biggest level of automation in the e-commerce industry. AI provide notification when a company has to re-order stock and assist in creating manufacturing schedule as per the variation in demand during the particular period of time accurately. The autonomous and data-driven supply chain has optimized logistics, manufacturing, warehousing and the last mile delivery. E-commerce giant like Amazon use leads to time and forecasting techniques to critically plan inventory orders. Machine learning system (MLS), a subset of AI solves the cognitive problems associated with human intelligence and helps to optimize logistic speed and quality. This paper discusses AI-based inventory management tools which are being utilized in the e-commerce industry. AI provides customers an enriched experience which helps to maximize profits.

ICP-MS and ICP-OES – A Review

The most important aspect of pharmaceuticals is its safety and efficacy which determines the fundamental aspect of its drug therapy. Therefore controlling the levels of impurities in drugs is important. There are many different types of impurities that are present in pharmaceuticals, in this study the focus is on inorganic impurities and the analytical techniques used for its detection mainly ICP-MS, ICP-OES. These new methods address the limitations of the current methods like ‘heavy metal tests’, extending the list of analytes, reducing maximum permitted exposure limits and taking account of the route of exposure. In this study, we found that ICP-MS is an effective tool in impurity profiling of Single, Multi and speciation analysis of different element's present in bulk drugs and formulations. In recent scenario, many of the pharmaceutical industries are adopting these hyphenated techniques.

Comparative study of handwash and sanitizer on the removal of faecal bacteria

This study was carried out to check the effect of different hand wash products on faecal bacteria, it is a fact that hand hygiene prevents diarrhea infection. But compliance with recommended instruction is poor. In this experiment, we picked up faecal bacteria from hands by swabbing method they were then allocated randomly to 1.swab of beforehand washing 2-handwash with|Dettol liquid hand wash and Patanjali with hot water and cold water and with Sanitizer( DETTOL) and other products such as savlon and lifebuoy. In this experiment we used 40 swabs, bacteria of potentialfeacal origin mostly enterococcus and enterobacteria spp were found after no hand washing in of sample. PATANJALI didn't inhibit faecal bacteria while DETTOL inhibits faecal bacteria and itis effective product than PATANJALI hand wash. Hand washing with DETTOL is more effective for the removal of faecal bacteria as compared to other products like PATANJALI. PATANJALI contain herbal ingredients NEEM-2mg and TULSI- 2mg which has antibacterial properties but concentration was not enough to inhibit faecal bacteria as it was confirmed with MIC and MBC. The concentration should be increased for good result of PATANJALI hand wash, whereas DETTOL showed excellent results against feacal bacteria and SANITIZER showed a moderate effect

Wireless patient health- Care system

Monitoring patients has become the prime concern these days. Wireless Patient Health-Care System is developed for monitoring body temperature and heart rate of a patient constantly. The main objective of this application is real-time monitoring of the patient without being physically present in the doctor’s clinic. In this system, heart sensor and temperature sensor are connected to Arduino MEGA. Arduino MEGA processes the data and uploads the data on the website using ESP 8266. If any irregularities are noticed by the microcontroller, then it sends an alarm as an SMS to the doctor and the patients relative giving a warning that the patient needs immediate care. With this, the doctor can also view the patient’s history with the help of the data uploaded on the website for treating him later or to change the treatment if the earlier treatment doesn’t work on the patient.
