A Review on the Combine Effect of Bagasse Ash and Rubber Tyre in Production of Bricks

India is the second largest in major sugar producing countries. Due to that there is increase in bagasse as a by-product from the sugar mill. Bagasse is the fibrous residue of sugar cane after crushing and extraction of juice. Sugar cane bagasse ash is the waste product of the combustion of bagasse for energy in sugar factories. Sugar cane bagasse ash is disposed of in landfills and is now becoming an environmental burden. Fly ash bricks can be extensively used in all building constructional activities similar to that of common burnt clay bricks. The objective of this work is to review the information regarding Fly Ash brick properties and their uses in a most concise, compact and to the point manner.

Combine effect of rice husk ash and silica fume with glass powder on concrete production by cement replacement

Concrete is major civil engineering construction material, because the ingredients of concrete are locally available materials. In ordinary concrete the cement is used as major binding material. The usage of cement in concrete causes lot of environmental pollution due to emission of greenhouse gases. So that it is necessary to reduce usage of cement by introducing new supplementary cementitious materials which are the by-products of industries to reduce debris. The rice husk ash is one of the by product which is released from paddy. The usage of rice husk ash in concrete leads to development of high strength concrete and also reduces the self-weight of the structure. In this study, partial replacement (by weight) of cement with RHA and silica fume with glass powder in paver blocks is used for determining the change in the compressive strength, water absorption of paver blocks. Partial replacement of cement in different percentage as like 10%, 20%, 30% and 40 % has been done. The compressive strength has been determined at the end of 7, 14 and 28 days, water absorption test has been determined at 28 days.

Ergonomic design of creel used for warping of beams in textiles

Ergonomics plays a vital role in productivity as it is directly concerned with the fatigue of the workers. Creel in textiles is a structure on which bobbins or reels are mounted. The number of bobbins is ranging from 400 to 1200. These are to be loaded manually. For this, a person has to sit & stand many times. Due to this, fatigue occurs. Absenteeism of workers also increases due to this fatigue. In this research work, modifications in the creel are suggested. The creel is now split into two parts. Upper part remaining fixed & lower part kept movable/ rotatable. Because of this arrangement, lower part can be taken on upper side & all the bobbins can be loaded in standing posture only. Hence fatigue is reduced a lot.

A review of the recent advances in Laparoscopic colorectal surgery, its present status, and logistic requirements for further advancement in the field

Background: The purpose of our study was to review the literature of advances made in the field of laparoscopic colorectal surgery and propose ways in which the roadblocks in the way to its wider acceptance can be removed. We studied online, the large body of Randomised trials, Meta-analyses and reviews that have been published in a bid to showcase the benefits of laparoscopically performed procedures, which include lesser pain, earlier recovery of bowel transit and shorter hospital stay. We found many well-designed studies that have demonstrated that oncological outcomes of laparoscopy and open surgery are similar. The percentage of patients treated with surgery using minimally invasive techniques is still quite small and there is significant inter-center variability. The number of surgeons possessing the necessary skill set needed for successful execution of a laparoscopic colorectal procedure is increasing slowly but steadily. Conclusions: We have attempted to describe advances in the field of laparoscopic colorectal surgery, single incision laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery and natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery. Finally, we have drawn broad conclusions about the efforts required to be made in order to increase the use of Laparoscopically performed colorectal surgery.

Investigation on bidirectional speed control of DC motor utilizing half bridge IC and PWM technique

Direct current (DC) engine has turned into a critical drive arrangement for some applications over an extensive variety of forces and speeds. The principle goes for a plan the engine driver is to drive a high ebb and flow dc engine. The engine driver is worked by utilizing IC BTN8962TA which is half extension IC. The engine driver planned with the end goal that is can control an engine of 50 amps and of 40V max. The driver can be controlled by remote or by PC. Moreover, PWM strategy is utilized for the speed control of the engine. PWM is produced by ATMEGA328 microcontroller. To drive the engine, H-Bridge IC is utilized. It is utilized to control of high torque DC engine is acquired by utilizing basic less cost equipment.T he PCB board is done in circuit carving strategy.
