ECG signal preprocessing using Savitzky-Golay filter and Moving-average filter

The paper has discussed about the various types of biomedical signals and ventured deep in the topic of ECG signal preprocessing. MATLAB software was used for analysis and research work. Explanation of various types of errors while recording ECG is given in the paper. Various methods of removal of errors called as ECG preprocessing has been discussed such as removal of powerline interference and baseline wander.

Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based indoor scene recognition model

The indoor scene recognition is the process of recognizing the scene in focus, which can be either an office or home. The indoor scene recognition has many real-time applications, which includes the automatic camera mode selection, robotic mobility, automatic CCTV coverage and alert setting based upon region visiting frequency, etc. The proposed model is designed for the indoor scene recognition based upon the multiple features, which primarily involves the combination of textural and color-pattern based features. The scene recognition is entirely based upon the pattern & texture recognition, which includes the speeded up robust features (SURF), HOG and scale invariant feature transformation (SIFT) features to differentiate the different indoor scenes. The proposed model has coupled with Classify Neural Network (CNN) classification algorithm. The proposed model has achieved the perfect accuracy of nearly 94%, which has outperformed all other data models with individual features of SIFT, SURF or HOG. This shows the effectiveness of the proposed model based upon multi-feature combination in comparison with the individual feature based applications.

A concise review on cinnoline and its biological activities

Cinnoline is an aromatic heterocyclic compound having a wide range of pharmacological actions like antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-tuberculosis, antiepileptic, antidepressant, antitumor, antihypertensive, antianxiety activities. Cinnoline is a fused six-membered ring with two nitrogen atoms as heteroatoms which is an isosteric derivative to quinolone or isoquinoline. This heterocyclic nucleus is the least condensed one and is having a special interest in the synthetic research field. This review discusses the biological activities of cinnoline compounds with different substitutions.

On bipolar-valued fuzzy algebra over bipolar-valued fuzzy field

In this paper, we apply the notion of a bipolar-valued fuzzy set to algebra over a field. We introduce the concept of a bipolar-valued L-fuzzy set of algebra and investigate some properties. We give relations between a bipolar-valued fuzzy algebra and bipolar-valued L-fuzzy set. We also give the characterization of bipolar-valued fuzzy ideal and discuss some related properties.

Effects of attenuation for live video streaming on free-space optics

Free Space Optical Communications (FSO) has become a magnet for a variety of applications in the communication field. Signal attenuation was highlighted in data transfer, particularly in the multimedia e.g. high-speed video camera network requires sufficient throughput. This paper focuses on finding an approach to improve the signal received through the use of bi-directional FSO multiple access channel with high transmission power to avoid signal attenuation in short distances over atmospheric turbulence channels. Comparison of the extracted results proved that the performance of the proposed system is effective to overcome these effects.

Agitation dynamics in Kashmir

The dynamics in Kashmir valley have undergone a vast change in past few years. Recent developments have shown that the underlying separatist sentiment aided overtly and covertly by Pakistan has again started to manifest itself, predominantly through protests and agitations. The scale and intensity of protest in 2016 have brought to fore the mass discontent amongst large sections of the local population.
