Publicity rights under fantasy sports

The research paper is based on a doctrinal research on the publicity of players against its free-selling through fantasy sports online. My topic comes under the technological law and sports law. To give an introduction to my topic, the issue I’m dealing with is whether the growth of fantasy markets owe any liability to players publicity. Online fantasy started with a group of friends over basketball and now is a multi-million dollar industry. It starts with a person acting as a ‘manager’. Before the start of every season, the player picks players from the draft of currently active players and then receive points throughout the season for their performance in the real world. For example, a hockey player who scores a lot of goals, or a baseball player with a high batting percentage, would be highly sought-after both in the real-life professional league and in the various fantasy leagues. Online fantasy sports providers are battling against the professional sports leagues and their players’ associations over whether the fantasy providers should pay licensing fees to use the players’ names and the statistics they generate. This question turns on whether the players have an enforceable right of publicity interest in their names and playing records.

A critical analysis of the preamble of the Indian constitution

The term 'Preamble' means an introduction to a Statute. The preamble is the introductory part of the Constitution. The Preamble cannot override the express provisions of the Act. It declares that the source of authority under the Constitution is the People of India and there is no subordination to any external authority. The preamble to the Indian Constitution is an integral part of the Constitution and can be amended but the basic structure cannot be amended. Secularism, Socialist and Integrity were added by the 42nd Amendment. Thus, the drafters of the Constitution also drafted the Preamble as a mirror and an introduction of the same. It would not be wrong to say that the spirit of the Constitution is present in the Preamble.

Study of mechanical properties of aluminum metal matrix composites

Metal matrix composites are generally fabricated by Liquid Metallurgy Route. In the LMR process before solidification, the particles are dispersed. Stir casting process is termed as Liquid metallurgy route which is employed for fabrication of metal matrix composites. In this present work, the mechanical properties of aluminum metal matrix composites are discussed.

Use of oxy hydrogen gas in stationary devices: A review

Now a day’s pollution increasing by petroleum fuels day by day in India as well as in the whole world and as we know petroleum fuels are non-renewable so a shift in scientist’s interests, recently observed, toward lower Fuel consumption and emission engines take place. This encourages researchers to seek alternative solutions to be used in engines without the need for a dramatic change in the vehicle design so the scientific society works as an alternative fuel. In many alternatives oxyhydrogen (HHO) gas is one of the best options. HHO gas can be reduced the percentage of HC and CO. This review study deals with the use of oxyhydrogen gas four stroke petrol engines for stationary devices like electricity generator.

Hybrid clustering algorithm using Ad-density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise

With a pace of time clustering algorithms are stunningly utilized in spatial databases for classification. Now a day’s databases are of different class and variable in length, therefore, some basic essential parameters are needed for a cluster algorithm for example efficiency must be a pinnacle for a larger database, finding of clusters with an unpredictable shape for larger database and must have the knowledge of input parameters so that cluster can be formed. Now a day’s data clustering is so much vital data mining innovation which plays supreme par in diverse scientific exercise. But real problem is that with the time size of data set increasing exponentially and to process huge data set one of the tedious tasks. Clustering technology in data mining is well defined whose main focus is to provide orthodox, manifest shape with help of different data set which is collected for the desired goal. An adroit clustering technique must be systematic and able to recognize clusters of erratic shapes. In our research work, there is a comparative analysis executed between DBSCAN and Ad-DBSCAN where six data sets considered of different quantity of 3-D nature. In base paper 1-D data set considered and after analysis between the base and proposed technique, in proposed technique accuracy is up to 99.99% and process for forming a cluster is very less as compared to base technique. There are different DBSCAN algorithms which can be implemented to execute diverse function so that the formation of the cluster would be dynamic. In this research, article summarization shows that formation of cluster executed fastly and with accuracy almost 100%.

Stability enhancement of a grid connected wind farm by using fuzzy logic and D-STATCOM

In recent time analysis of some major blackouts and failures of power system shows that the voltage instability problem has been one of the main reasons for these disturbances and networks collapse. In recent years, a remarkable and numerous improvements have been achieved because of electric energy generation by utilization of wind energy. However, these achievements are accompanied by several problems such as grid stability and security. The transient stability issues of the grid-connected wind farms have increased especially in case of severe disturbances and contingencies. Static analysis is used to analyze the voltage stability of the system under study, whilst the dynamic analysis is used to evaluate the performance of compensators. The static techniques used are Power Flow, V–P curve analysis, and Q–V modal analysis. In this study, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission system (FACTS) devices- namely, Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOMs) and Static Var Compensators (SVCs) - are used as reactive power compensators, taking into account maintaining the violated voltage magnitudes of the weak buses within the acceptable limits defined in ANSI C84.1.
