Stabilization of soil using sisal, polypropylene and hybrid fibers

Geotechnical engineers face various problems while designing foundation because of clayey soil due to poor bearing capacity and excessive settlement. So, we rectify that with various engineering works but in this project we choose fibers for improving soil parameters, this method is cost effective and eco-friendly one. The clay sample was collected from Devakottai, Tamil Nadu, India. Sisal, polypropylene, and hybrid of these two fibers were used for soil stabilization. The sisal fiber was mixed 0 .1%, 0.2%, 0.3% and 0.4% by weight of the soil samples. Similarly, polypropylene fiber was mixed 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% by weight of the soil samples and hybrid fiber mixed soil samples randomly distributed. The effect of fiber addition on soil stabilization was evaluated by conducting tests such as Atterberg’s limits, Standard Proctor compaction test, Unconfined Compressive strength test, Specific gravity test, and California bearing ratio test

Blockchain for cloud backup system

Blockchain Technology is an emerging technology in the software world. In order to understand the applications of the blockchain, it is necessary to understand how blockchain works. Blockchain was first introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008, which serve a Peer-to-Peer ledger for registering cryptocurrency bitcoin transactions. The blockchain is a list of records stored in the form of a chain. A blockchain is a decentralized distributed ledger which means a number of records are stored in a block and the block is added to the chain. Each block consists of a number of transactions for each transaction there will be a unique hash value, all hash values of the number of the transaction are combined and made a single hash value of the block and this follows Merkle root hash method. The invention of blockchain in cryptocurrency bitcoin solved the issue of double spending. The invention of blockchain in data backup can decrease the security complexity and duplication of the data. Rather than storing the data in one single hub that is the centralized system we can store the data in the blockchain which is a decentralized distributed ledger. In this decentralized system, the file is divided into a number of chunks stored into the blockchain which makes it difficult for data hacking and data tampering. In a centralized system if a server goes down then data is lost forever and in centralized system records can easily be altered because it does not have a backup to verify the records but in the blockchain, every peer in the network has the copy of the records and it is difficult to tamper the records. The files can be divided by a technology called Reed-Soloman erasure coding, generally used in CDs and DVDs. Reed-Soloman erasure coding allows dividing files in a redundant manner, where any 1 of 3 segments can fully recover a user's file.

An analytical approach on user’s situational behavioral pattern in Multimedia Social Networks (MSN)

In today’s world, it is verifiable that social media plays an essential job in affecting our way of life, our economy and our general perspective of the world. Social media is a new forum that conveys individuals to exchange idea, connect with, relate to, and mobilize for a cause, seek advice, and offer guidance. Most research on social network mining centers around finding the knowledge behind the information for enhancing people life. While multimedia social networks (MSNs) apparently grow their users' ability in expanding social contacts, they may really diminish the face-to-face interpersonal connections in reality. In this way, the association between users and MSN are becoming more progressively complete and convoluted. This proposed system principally expanded and enhanced the circumstance investigation system for the particular social area and further proposed a novel algorithm for users intention serialization analysis dependent on exemplary Generalized Sequential Pattern (GSP). We utilized the enormous volume of user behavior records to investigate the continuous sequence mode that is important to predict user intention. The experiments chose two general sorts of goals: playing and sharing of interactive media, which are the most widely recognized in MSN, based on the intention serialization algorithm under various least threshold limit (Min Support).

Experimental analysis on strengthening of RC member before and after rehabilitation

In today’s world affordable and mass housing plays a vital role in human development. Due to population growth, economic conditions development in building construction, a deficit in raw material leads to an increase in raw material cost. Concrete structural material that in modern times is made by post-tensioned and prestressed concrete is introduced in modern technology nowadays, In the modern world, we have constructed the R.C.C Framed structures only, for that structure can retain as Strengthening technique used as rehabilitation for the traditional building as it is as per actual strength before and after. This project we carried out for the experimental study on the strengthening of RC member before and after rehabilitation, for what extend level it can by capable to stability on maximum load and crack pattern developing in these sectional properties of structures we have to investigate and carried out the critical load and find analytically and experimentally. In this study, we can analysis of structure theoretical and practically proved by experimental study. The objective of this study is to produce concrete column and beams casting as per the high-performance concrete grade M25 to M40 as per the bonding strength by using raping material with construction chemicals. For this, cast by mold and also done Laboratory tests are conducted to study the behavior of column and beam subjected to critical loading. The load test results showed that the load carrying capacity for this crack paternity stability to carry the critical load for beam and column, we proved as theoretical and practically by using experimental study on strengthening of beam and column.

Classification of satellite images using cellular automata

Satellite image classification is a substantial technique that is utilized in faraway sensing for the automatic evaluation and sample attention of the satellite tv for pc information, which provides the mechanical interpretation of a massive amount of data. Image classification introduces to label the photographs into the number of predefined categories. The Satellite Image classification consists of photograph sensors, photograph pre-processing, object detection, object segmentation, attribute extraction, and facts analysis. Many classification strategies have been derived for photograph classification. This paper will cover the study concerning the fundamentals of a number of classification methods used in the satellite tv for pc picture classification have been described. In this paper, a tabular assessment of the beforehand proposed methods has been presented for the better perception of these techniques.
