Internet of Things for personal healthcare

Technologies are not still and the Internet of Things concept introduces a lot of new possibilities for innovation, new products, and user applications. All devices become truly personal and the medical sector is not an exclusion. Telemedicine is a new approach to diagnostic and treatment, while smart healthcare solutions provide the user an ultimate health control. The purpose of my study is to understand what the eHealth sector is and to provide clear guidelines for business and IT specialists on how to enter the smart healthcare market. I analyzed the current market situation, made audience research in Fin- land, and prepared a whitepaper with basic rules, which can help to develop and design a valuable, secure product for personal use, which gives maximum profit for the company and ultimate usage convenience and experience for selected consumers. The following topics are covered in the paper: needs and requirements of healthcare IoT, regulations, adoption, IoT user experience, security, and so on. I hope my work will help specialists from different fields to understand the personal healthcare Internet of Things and to open new operating areas. Finally, I applied all collected theoretical knowledge and designed a smart insulin pump, which is an innovative and new product on today’s market.

Improved corpus base English to Hindi language translation sequence-based deep learning approach

While the NMT system operates conventional techniques such as rule-based machine translation and statistical machine translation, the manual human translation still falls short. Our two NMT systems, RNN sequence-to-sequence, and transformer-based models are used in this paper for English-to-Hindi translation and are compared to the current MT output for the BLEU score. It outperforms current performance systems. However, a thorough review of the translations projected shows that in instances when an unknown word is recognized, blank lines emerge in the output and the source phrase is translated in a number of ways, our NMT systems need to be improved. In addition, the finding of the effect of the bi-gram model on the Hindi translation and relation between comparable Indian languages provides a new research route for direct translation between couples of similar languages. It may be possible to circumvent the limitation of available parallel data in low-resource languages by using linguistic similarities to get accurate results. With English to Hindi, an LSTM-based care mechanism enhances the MT output of the GRU-based NMT system. We also evaluated MT output performance in the Indian language, Hindi, using the BLEU-1, BLEU-2, and BLEU3 scores. For an Indian language like Hindi, it has been pointed out that it is not sufficient to assess on the basis of the BLEU1 score, as in prior research. In any configuration of NMT systems, the average BLEU score obtained is close to the matching bi-gram BLEU score.

Sustainable Municipal Solid Waste Management through 3R Initiatives in India: Lessons to be learned from the success stories

With the rising quantity of waste on a global and national level and more serious projections in the coming future all over the world, sustainable solid waste management practices and initiatives have become a necessity like never before. Rampant Increase in population urbanization and resultantly more consumption is adding to the already existing load of waste. It has become a compulsion thus that solutions to these problems are timely thought of and practices and initiatives that reduce the burden of waste are put into place. This paper thus attempts to understand the dynamics of the 3R perspective in sustainable waste management in the Indian context. It tries to understand the principles of 3R and then find out the scope of applying these principles in India and the challenges that it faces in the present scenario. This paper attempts to discuss the successful initiatives that have been taken by a number of cities in India to reduce, reuse, and recycle. The study mainly relies on available online and Secondary data and successful case studies in 3R in India. It tries to explain what are the efforts taken to keep the socio-economic dimension in India that can make SWM sustainable in India and what future steps can be taken to make it a reality.

Effects of different circuit training methods on agility and speed ability: A comparative study

The intention of the present study was to investigate the effects of continuous and interval circuit training on the agility and speed ability of secondary-level school students. Total of 60 boy students, age level 13 to 16 years were randomly selected as samples from the Purulia district of West Bengal, India. Samples were equally divided into three groups: continuous circuit training group (CCT), interval circuit training group (ICT), and Control group (CG). CCT and ICT groups participated in a specific training program for three days per week; the training was composed for 12 weeks. On the other hand, CG was on normal life activity. The data was collected before and after the application of training protocol on agility and speed. ‘t’ test and ANOVA were used to find out the statistical significance. The level of significance for the study was selected as 0.05. The investigation concluded that interval and continuous circuit training does have a significant positive effect to enhance Physical fitness components' speed and agility even after 12 weeks of training on secondary level school students.

Cellular agriculture: The way ahead for food, textile, and cosmetic industries

Cellular agriculture, an alternative to animal-based proteins, is an emerging field of biotechnology that aims at developing sustainable products. Harvesting of animal products from cell cultures rather than animals is a promising technology that draws together different disciplines ranging from industrial biotechnology, synthetic biology, materials science, and tissue engineering to social sciences, history, philosophy, and design. Tissue engineering and fermentation are the two major approaches to cellular agriculture.  This review extensively discusses some prominent applications of cellular agriculture, namely in the meat, fish, leather, silk, and cosmetic industries. It incorporates the procedures, drawbacks, challenges, and the current market progress of these environment-friendly alternatives. Further research in technological advancements, bioreactor designs, cell scaffolding, bioprinting, and other modern methods will pave a path to large-scale production. Cellular agriculture is the future of diverse industries. With growing research, it will overcome various challenges and limitations of conventional animal farming. The products formed are advantageous and will be valued for their environmental, ethical, health, and safety benefits over the animal-derived versions.

Studies on a new species of Genus Senga (Dollfus, 1934) Cestoda: Ptychobothridae, from freshwater fish Mastacembelus armatus at. Wakadi Dam, Dist. Parbhani (M.S.) India

The present discussion deals with the study of Genus Senga wakadii sp. nov. collected from freshwater fish Mastacembelus armatus at. Wakadi dam, Dist Parbhani (M.S.) India. The present cestode parasite’s character comes closer to the earlier known species of Genus Senga but also having some differentiating remarkable characters. Scolex is vessel shaped with two bothria, the inner portion of bothridia is convoluted, overlapped internally in the middle, and extends up to the posterior part of the scolex. Rostellar hooks are arranged in a circular manner, rostellar hooks are 30-35 in numbers. Mature segment two to three times broader than long, testes 55-65 in number, the cirrus is a thin tube, within the cirrus pouch. Vas deferens is a thin slightly curved.
