Problems of the Anganwadi workers

Recognizing that the children are the assets of the country and future manpower, the Government of India has launched a massive integrated child development program for the promotion of the health of the children and mother. The program was implemented on a project basis and the Anganwadi center is the key at the grass-root level to supplement nutrition, immunization, reduce infant mortality, health-checkup and referral health, nutrition education, pre-school education, etc, The center is manned by an Anganwadi worker. The qualification prescribed is 10 years of schooling. To perform the above task they were exposed to pre and In-service training programs. The functionary has to interact and expose to various sections of people at various levels. The effectiveness in discharging their functions largely lies in identifying the bottlenecks and overcoming them. The training that was given to them should expose them to the anticipated problems in discharging their duties and functions. The present study is conducted in this direction to identify the problems faced by the Anganwadi workers as felt by themselves and from supervisors’ point of view. The knowledge of the anticipated problems will form a base for formulating the training curriculum of the functionaries.

Impact of marital status on labour composition

Paid work paves the way toward social and economic stability. All around the world, men and women engage in work as a labor force to earn a living. It is essential for an independent source of income, to be able to live a decent life. Equal opportunities and treatment in the labor forces of a market are essential to establishing a decent working environment. But the question of the hour is, is everyone provided with the same opportunities. There is evidence that there exists a gender divide in the workforce systems all around the world, especially when it comes to the equitable status of women in the labor force aspect. This paper aims at investigating the impact of gender and marital status on labor composition and review the conditions of female labor force composition in India.

E-Commerce System for Visually Challenged People

A website design that allows visually impaired to access and shop without any assistance. For visual impaired people it is difficult to do online shopping. This system gives voice instruction to users and an input is requested from the user. The user is required to hover over the entire page using the curser to access different voice messages for various fields. We are developing system which helps blind people to choose clothing patterns and other accessories by using speech recognition. It translates spoken words into text speech recognition. The main aim of this project is to propose an online shopping application especially for blind people through which they can choose whatever they want by simply speaking a sentence and to provide more flexibility and compatibility.

The new normal: Digital transformation of the business world and digitalization

The COVID-19 pandemic currently plaguing the world has engendered many disruptions around us, with extremely dramatic effects on not only business activities and people but also on the global economy and its future. The victims of the unprecedented outspread of the pandemic have been primarily Micro and Small Enterprises, especially in developing countries. Not just that, many large enterprises have been forced to reevaluate their business models, resulting in variations in growth patterns in the business world. During this time too though, new avenues have opened, and there has been an evident rapid growth in the digitalization sector. Despite the large-scale digitalization across the world, businesses, especially SME’s have landed in a slump due to the lack of resources, disruption of the supply chain as well as lack of sustainability and ability to cope with the digitalization of businesses around them. The pandemic has also exposed real-world challenges faced in digitalization, while developing avenues of growth yet to be explored. This paper discusses significant changes and problems faced by the business world, how digitalization reshapes businesses and their working during the pandemic and what new avenues and problems the world may face due to the advent of COVID-19 and the simultaneous emergence of a new era led by digital transformation.

Social costs and its accounting of prawn farming in west Bengal

Prawns have good domestic and international markets. Prawns may be caught or cultured. Prawn culture is aquaculture. Prawn culture is carried on three districts in West Bengal such as North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, and Purba Midnapore. Prawn culture in these districts plays a vital role in providing gainful employment in rural areas earning foreign exchange and improving the economy. But prawn culture has some bad effects on the environment. The externalities of prawn culture are reduction of cultivation work, threatening food security, ecological imbalance, diminishing fertility of the land, environmental degradation, salination of drinking water, ill health, skin diseases, social pollution, etc. These costs destroy the socio-economic balance of the coastal area. So these costs need to be accounted for in environmental Accounting. Primary data are used for this exploratory research. Some good management practices should be followed to make sustainable prawn farming reducing externalities.

Smart Attendance with Real-Time Face Recognition is a practical option for dealing with day-to-day tasks. Attendance system for students Attendance is based on the recognition of faces. This is a method of recognizing a student's face in preparation for a test. Face biometrics based on high-definition images are used to track attendance. keep an eye on video and other forms of information technology in front of my face, A computer system will be able to find and recognize people as part of the recognition project. In photos or videos, distinguish human faces quickly and precisely are being filmed on video by a surveillance system. Numerous Improved algorithms and methodologies have been developed for Face recognition performance, but the concept to be Deep Learning is used in this case. It aids conversion.
