Short Answer And Essay Scoring using Modeling Technique

A decorous grading system is very paramount in any institution, especially such institutes which gives short answers and essay type questions in examination. The purpose of this research is to find an approach to automate the grading of short answers and essay type questions. In this work Natural Language Processing algorithm is used to perform the above said job using Modeling technique.

Report on Studying the Effect of Mesh Density on Finite Element Analysis and Establish an Optimal Mesh Density for Finite Element Analysis of a Bridge Deck under the Effect of Self-Weight and Vehicular Dynamic Load

Analytical Modelling is the initial step in a software based Finite Element Analysis of any sophisticated structure associated with irregular shape, complex loading pattern and combination of different loads along with complex boundary condition. In the modelling of structure, Mesh Density plays a major role and it becomes a critical issue of finite element analysis, which closely relates to the accuracy of finite element model while directly determine their complexity level. This project report presents a systematic study on finding the effects of Mesh density on accuracy of numerical analysis results, based on which brief guidelines of choosing the best mesh strategy in finite element modelling is provided. In the project work, for studying the effect of Mesh Density, a bridge deck has been considered and analysis has been performed separately for Self-weight of the structure as well as Vehicular loading which is dynamic in nature. The modelling of the Bridge deck is performed several times with different mesh sizes for studying the analysis results to accomplish the best Mesh strategy that maintain the complexity level of the modelling without compromising in the accuracy of the analysis results. In addition, a case study on similar kinds of attempts to establish perfect Mesh size has been discussed briefly and a comparison has been made between the conclusions of this project work with the case study results, which are in line up to a great extent.

Use of Literary Devices in Advertising

Advertising for the longest time has been the prime source for one-way communication between potential customers and businesses. The task however is to establish the brand and the product in the minds of the end user. While it may sound easy, advertising can be a handful. This research paper explores a certain small but important aspect of an entirety that is advertising. It deals with the use of literary devices such as puns, rhetoric, dramatization and personification, in advertising. It explores how it has been used and suggests how it can be further used.

A Review on UAV Video Processing for Estimation of Traffic Parameters

Remotely sensed data using aerial video can be used to enhance existing methods and therefore to improve traffic surveillance. Traditional monitoring devices such as loop detectors, surveillance video cameras and microware sensors are usually placed at fixed locations to achieve a fixed surveillance coverage range. Aerial monitoring has helped the traffic planners and commuters to yield detailed information. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are gaining popularity in traffic monitoring due to their low cost, high flexibility, and wide view range. The purpose of this technical report is to provide a survey of research, related to the application of UAV videos for traffic management.

Formulation and Evaluation of Floating Sustained Release In Situ Gel as Carrier for Stomach Specific Drug Delivery of Alfuzosin

In-situ forming polymeric formulations drug delivery systems is in sol form before administration in the body, but once administered, undergoes gelation in-situ to form a gel, from which drug gets released in sustained and controlled manner. The formulation of gel depends upon factors like temperature modulation, pH changes, presence of ions and ultra-violet irradiation. The objective of this study was to develop a novel in- situ gel system for sustained drug delivery of Alfuzocin using natural biodegradable polymers. The system utilizes polymers that exhibit sol-to-gel phase transition due to change in specific physico-chemical parameters. In-situ gel was formed at a biological pH. Gellan gum used as a polymer and CaCO3 was used as a cross-linking agent. In vitro release studies were conducted in 0.1 N HCl and cumulative amount of drug release was analyzed by spectrophotometry. From designed set of experiments, it was evident that formulation containing Gellan gum control the release of drug for longer duration. The in-situ gel exhibited the expected viscosity, drug content, pH, in vitro gelling capacity, in vitro floating ability and sustained drug release. The stability studies were carried out for 3 month.

Vector Control of PMSM Using Power Electronic Controllers

This paper describes a sensorless field oriented control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using rotor position tracking proportional-integral (PI) controller. With the advent of vector control methods, Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) can be operated like separately excited dc motor for the high-performance application. This technique can be applied to low and high-speed operations. In this method a loop recovery technique is applied, to boost the bandwidth of PI controller. The design, analysis, simulation of the sensorless method is done using MATLAB R2011a.
