Abstract

A captivating smile showing an even row of natural, gleaming white teeth is a major factor in achieving that elusive dominant characteristic known as personality. An individual can achieve this personality with a warm, vibrant and friendly smile. With advances in science and technology in the field of esthetic dentistry. porcelain laminate veneers has worked wonders to the victims of unaesthetic and discoloured teeth. Veneers provide the most conservative technique of improving the appearance, modifying contour, restoring enamel defects, masking discoloration and closure of diastema. The conservation of sound tooth structure helps to preserve the tooth vitality and reduces postoperative sensitivity. The porcelain veneers are one of the most aesthetic, durable conservative and biocompatible anterior restorations. They consist of a thin layer of porcelain that is directly bonded to the labial surface of the tooth structure.
