Abstract

Energy is the most important part of human life. As a significant approach energy in smart grid is interconnected with a power grid that involves sensors, deployment strategies, smart meters , variety .and real-time data processing. It generates the data with high velocity, large volume, and variety.In this paper we gave brief introduction of big data, big data architecture, s mart grid, big data architecture for smart grid and its advantages and big data applications in smart grid environment and future challenges in energy domain and s mart grid communication.
