Abstract

An Investment banker acts as an intermediary between the issuers and the ultimate purchasers of securities in the primary securities market. An Investment bank is an organization, maybe bank, corporate body, firm, or proprietary concern. Investment banks offer a plethora of services to their corporate clients such as guidance in raising capital, issue management services, underwriting of corporate securities, project feasibility, corporate restructuring strategies, and other advisory services. They provide scientific portfolio management to individual investors by maximizing the yield and minimizing the risk along with other objectives like the stability of income, capital growth, liquidity, safety, tax incentives, etc. Investment Banking adopts the new developments and innovations in the global financial markets. Investment Banking indeed helps individuals, corporates, and the government as a whole.
