The suspension is the system of tires, tire air,
springs,
shock absorbers and
linkages that connects a
vehicle to its
wheels and allows relative motion between the two. Suspension systems must support both road holding/
handling and
ride quality, which is at odds with each other. The tuning of suspensions involves finding the right compromise. It is important for the suspension to keep the road wheel in contact with the road surface as much as possible because all the road or ground forces acting on the vehicle do so through the contact patches of the
tires. The 20th century saw a large diversification of fossil energy consumption, with coal declining from 96 percent of total production in 1900 to less than 30 percent in 2000. Today, crude oil is the largest energy source, accounting for around 39 percent of fossil energy, followed by coal and natural gas at 33 and 28 percent, respectively. It’s necessary to find an alternate method of energy generation. Since in our car air conditioning to wiper motor runs on fuel. Instead of using fuel for small requirements, we can use the energy generated by the suspension. Our project is to develop energy from the suspension and charge the battery or use the electric energy for various purposes.
