Abstract

Many unfortunate incidents have been taking place in this world with women. Problems may arise in many ways, such as, women walking on the road after work, going to the supermarket or many other reasons for which they go alone. People at home are not sure of their safe return. In 2013 there was an incident where a 23-year-old woman was gang-raped in New Delhi in a bus. According to the reports of WHO, NCRB-social-government organization 35%, women all over the world are facing a lot of unethical physical harassment in public places such as railway-bus stands, footpaths, etc. In order to overcome such problems faced by women, the Automated Women Safety System is being proposed to provide a safe environment. This system is developed using IoT (Internet of Things). It employs the pressure sensor, shock circuit which serves as the first step of self-defense, hidden camera, GPS module
