Abstract

Maintenance of road conditions is a major problem in recent years in developing countries. Nowadays, road infrastructure is too much important because most road accidents take place due to bad conditions of roads like potholes. Potholes are made because of poor quality of use while making roads. The constant movement of overweight vehicles like trucks is also responsible for these ill roads. Also, these ill roads cause damages to vehicles in terms of tires and shockers and the most important thing is the accidents which are caused due by this. An optimal system should be developed to monitor the road condition and analyses it for future work. We propose an innovative method to resist these accidents and other means by using the advanced sensor system. The sensors will be attached to vehicles and from vehicles, the data are obtained from sensors and the location obtained by the GPS are transferred to road transport authority by IOT where officials take immediate actions. Using the data obtained, the more damaged areas can be prioritized and damage can be reduced.
