Abstract

The finite element analysis, mesh size plays a very important role in determining the accuracy of the result. This paper gives an idea about the effect of mesh size on the result. On the basis of the results obtained one can get an idea regarding, choosing the appropriate mesh size during analysis. Static analysis is performed in Ansys software. The models under consideration are UV joint and Flange coupling assembly (both separate) which are made in Solidworks
